From the Representative

I began my career as an IT engineer working on enterprise system development, then spent many years as a journalist and editor at an Asian economic media outlet — covering Southeast Asian business from the ground up. I also served as the president of local subsidiaries in Indonesia and Singapore.

These three experiences are the foundation of SHIFT HUB.

1992-1996

Graduated from Tohoku University (Faculty of Letters, Department of Sociology, Behavioural Science). A leading national research university in Japan.

1996-2004

IT Engineer

Systems engineer and project leader on large-scale enterprise system development and implementation. Also involved in major ERP deployment projects.

2005-2007

Graduate Study in Australia

Studied journalism at Griffith University Graduate School. Gained experience as a reporter at a local radio station.

2008-2025

Asian Economic Media

Journalist and editor at an Asian economic media outlet for 17 years. Also served as president of local subsidiaries in Indonesia and Singapore, leading both editorial and business operations.

2025–Present

Founded SHIFT HUB

Launched SHIFT HUB in Singapore, providing Japan market entry support for companies across Southeast Asia.
